How It Works

• Marketo calls our step with lead’s first name (and optionally country & existing salutation)
• If a salutation (Mr/Ms/etc.) is already present, we use it; otherwise we look up by name via Otowui’s API
• We return both a standardized Salutation and a gender value (male, female, unisex or unknown)
• Use these fields for segmentation, personalization or reporting
